We recommend booking as early as possible — ideally 9 to 12 months before your wedding date, particularly if you're planning a Saturday celebration during peak season (October through April in Sydney, and May through October in Toronto). Popular dates fill up quickly, and securing your booking early ensures you're not left disappointed. That said, we do occasionally have availability for shorter lead times, so it's always worth reaching out regardless of your timeline to check our current calendar.
Absolutely. Song selection is one of our favourite parts of the entire process. Every package includes a personalised music consultation where you share your must-play tracks, preferred genres, and any songs you'd prefer we leave out. Our musical director works with the band to learn, arrange, and rehearse your chosen songs to ensure they're performed exactly the way you've envisioned. We have an extensive repertoire covering thousands of songs across every genre, and we're always happy to add new tracks to accommodate special requests.
Yes. Our standard packages include a wireless microphone for your officiant as part of our ceremony PA setup. We also provide a microphone for any readings or speeches that occur during the ceremony. Our sound technician manages all audio levels throughout the ceremony to ensure everything is heard clearly by all of your guests, regardless of the venue size or layout. If your venue has its own audio system, we're experienced in integrating seamlessly with existing setups.
Yes, and this is something we genuinely love doing. Red Soda Band has performed music from an enormous range of cultural traditions, including Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Indian, Filipino, and many more. We understand how meaningful it is to incorporate cultural elements into a wedding celebration, and we approach these requests with respect, preparation, and enthusiasm. Whether it's a traditional folk song, a cultural dance number, or music in a language other than English, we'll work with you to make it happen beautifully.
Each package is outlined clearly in your personalised proposal, but as a general guide, our packages include pre-performance setup and sound check, a dedicated music coordinator throughout the planning process, a customised song list consultation, all performance equipment including PA systems and microphones, and performance time as agreed. Our full-day packages additionally include cocktail hour music, all formal dances, dinner background music, and a complete reception party set. We also handle all liaison with your venue regarding sound and logistics. There are no hidden costs — everything is clearly itemised from the outset.
We do. Red Soda Band has performed at beaches, vineyards, rooftops, private properties, national parks, heritage estates, and everything in between. We're fully self-sufficient with our own PA equipment, power solutions, and weather contingency setups, meaning we don't rely on a venue having existing infrastructure. We do conduct a detailed venue assessment as part of our planning process to ensure we're fully prepared for any logistical considerations your chosen location may present. If you have a non-traditional venue in mind, we'd love to hear about it.

Once you've had a chance to review the proposal and speak with our music coordinator, you can confirm your booking through our secure online portal by signing your agreement and paying a deposit to hold your date. From that point forward, your date is exclusively reserved for your wedding, and your music coordinator begins the personalised planning process with you straight away.
